I’m terrified of 3 things:
I’m terrified of driving under bridges while trains drive over them because saw videos on live leak when I was too young.
I’m terrified of aging. I’m turning 30 next month and it’s gut-wrenching. I hear people say that your 30s are more fun than your 20s, but a lot of those people have kids and I don’t trust anyone who thinks they’re a good enough person to be a parent. I know I’m washed up. That’s no secret. The other day I pulled my right glute walking the dogs on flat ground. I’ve accepted it and honestly, I’m kind of proud. It’s the fringe stuff that I’m afraid of. I’ll have to get more expensive beer than Natty, I’ll have to buy Invisalign, I’ll have to go to the dermatologist about my mole-ridden back, I’ll have to go to the dentist for the first time in 6 years. It’s a laundry list of things that suck.
With all that being said, one thing about getting older that is cool is just how times change. Like, tonight’s game is on Prime Video, which means I won’t have to use an unsavory website to stream a game with a 10-minute delay and 90 viruses. Now THAT’S cool.
I’m also terrified of aneurysms.
Rams @ Seahawks
(Seahawks +3, O/U 54.5)
Seahawks in Primetime again? This game will either end with one team missing a field goal and the other team making theirs at the end of regulation or it will end with an interception and a field goal in OT. That’s how every Primetime Seahawks game goes.
But if you want to look past that because you’re a snooty fuck, then here’s this:
These are two teams with Top 5 offenses (DVOA, duh) with sub-par defenses (LA 20th, Seattle 25th) so there are going to be a shitload of points in this game. But just how many? Well, in the last 3 weeks, Seattle has given up 33, 30, and 28 points against teams that aren’t super great. That’s more than enough to cover their half of 54.5. The Rams have given up 20, 24, and 24 points in that same time. All signs are pointing to the over.
As far as a side goes? Beats me. All I know is that Seattle isn’t a home dog very often (6 times in the last 5 years) and home dogs have been great this year.
Also, last night someone dug up an old Rams tweet where they were supporting the St. Louis Cardinals and it made it seem like the LA Rams wanted the Cardinals to win the wild card game, so the Rams are fucked.
Over 54.5 Seattle +3
