I work overnight shifts at a mental health facility and I almost never have to actually deal with any bullshit, but this morning was different. There’s a client that has kleptomanic tendencies but only when it comes to food, and today I caught them trying to steal food. Here’s what happened: On one side of the building, there’s a little hallway that has a staff fridge, a microwave, and a trash can. I walked into that hallway to grab a stapler and I saw this client with a plastic bag. I want to say they were loading this bag up with food from the staff fridge, but in my naive, hopeful, and more than likely, correct heart, I know they were taking food out of the trash to eat later. Why would I think that? Because I’ve caught them doing it in the past. But in the past they were kneeling down in the open, eating garbage out of a bag like a zombie tearing at a human’s abdomen. Easily the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. But this morning I saw this client and when we made eye contact, I didn’t see the sadness in their eyes. Instead, I saw disappointment with a little bit of anger sprinkled on top. I felt that shit, you know? I’ve had that feeling of disappointment and anger recently: when the Cardinals and Titans didn’t score a single motherfucking point in the 4th quarter and missed the over by 1 point. That’s disappointment, pain, and quite frankly, melancholy embodied.
I can relate to a thief who treats a trashcan like their own personal Golden Corral. That’s what I’m trying to say.
Whatever. It’s all behind us, it’s Thursday, so let’s just focus on that.

It’s a bummer that we probably definitely won’t get any Fitzmagic ever again. I was a big fan of those 4 weeks at the end of September into October that he always shined. I’m sure Washington is upset about that too, but I don’t think this Heinecke fella is a schlub. Dude played well in a playoff game last year and threw for 73% completions last week against a fine Chargers team. Is he a game manager? Doubt it. But I don’t think you really need to be against the Giants, because baby, they STINK. Joe Judge is a buffoon, the offensive line plays like they’re malnourished, and they’ll lose the turnover battle purely because of Daniel Jones.
Washington -3. Seal it in blood.
