2 Sentence Prediction: Jets

I’ve developed a proprietary system to determine every single NFL game. Every day leading up to the start of the regular season I’ll let you know the week-to-week results for each team in two sentences or less.

No one wants the Jets to get better. Unfortunately for us, they are.

It’s not going to happen all at once like it did for the Bengals, but it’ll happen over the next 4 or 5 years. That kinda sucks worse though. I’d rather have them rip the band-aid off all at once and just do it, rather than us having to decide week-in and week-out whether or not they’re going to win a game.

Robert Saleh is going to do better this year, and because of it, we’ll see a bunch of Defensive Coordinators get hired as Head Coaches in the offseason. Zach Wilson is also going to play better for a few games this year, and it’ll make a few dorky-looking quarterbacks rise in the draft next year. Who knew the Jets could be so influential?

The Jets have gone 21-59 in the last 5 years, and 7 of those wins came in 2019.

It’s going to be closer to that 2019 season this year.

Week 7:

The Jets put together a couple of good back-to-back wins. It makes people really think Zach Wilson can be an elite quarterback, but the only reason he wins is that the other quarterbacks have their worst games of the season.

Week 8:

The Patriots end all of the Zach Wilson hype by picking him off 3 times and sacking him 4 times. Mac Jones and Zach Wilson shake hands after the game, making it the least swaggiest handshake in human history.
