Too Early Breakdown: Almost Everyone is Mostly Dead

Covid pulled a Thanos and snapped his fingers. Just like that, half the players in the league are out on IR. I’m guessing you’re a lot like me. Yes, we knew that this ongoing global pandemic exists, but we forgot that this ongoing global pandemic is ongoing.

Now we get a week 15 with some wild ass lines because of decimated rosters, and I think the best option is to not overthink it and take the favorites in those match ups.

Raiders @ Browns

Raiders -3.5, O/U 38

Nick Mullens.

Raiders -3.5

Washington @ Eagles

Eagles -9.5, O/U 42.5

Heinicke is hurt. Kyle Shurmur is a back up, but he’s never played a snap in the NFL. Who’s after that?

Washington signed Jordan Ta’amu as a back up back up QB.

One of the guys in my fraternity transferred to Ole Miss to play football (it didn’t work out for him).

This guy befriended Jordan Ta’amu.

I saw on his Instagram that he was frolicking around on a lake with Jordan Ta’amu, presumably to celebrate Jordan’s birthday which was over the weekend.

I saw that on Monday. If Washington is that desperate… Buddy…They’re fucked.

Eagles -9.5.

Saints @ Buccaneers

Buccaneers -11.5, O/U 46.5

The Saints defense deserves a little more respect than 11.5 points. They’ve done some dirty things to Tom Brady in the past and 11.5 points seems just… weird.

The Buccaneers lost to the Saints this year, and now they’re double digit favorites? Why do I have so many questions about this? Do the odds makers think Sean Payton’s head is going to be out of it because of the trailer for his movie? Did the rules change and allow the Bucs players to wear Freddy Krueger gloves during the game? What the fuck is going on?

Give me the Saints and the absurd amount of points. This is crazy.

Saints +11.5.
